I just did what I swore I'd never do. Get a title loan. The interest rate is through the roof but I can pay it off in up to 10 months at this place instead of 1 months (which had a lower interest rate) like the other place wanted.I just hope it doesn't blow up in my face. The domino effect of late rent payments started with having to take Mama to 2 unplanned doctor's appointments withinhg 2 weeks when gas was 50 bucks a tankful and it took half a tank to get back and forth to Corinth just once.

The due date for each month is far enough from when the money comes in that I should be able to scrape it up by then with not much trouble.I'll try to pay more than expected each time in order to wear down the principal and cut down on the interest.

My immediate problem is fixed but the long term problem hopefully can be managed. Doesn't mean I won't be anxious about it though.
